The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Los Angeles Harbor would like to wish everyone a Happy 2012. 2011 was filled with thrills and chills on many different levels. Over all the organization ended the year strong. Our Christmas toy give-away's were a complete success thanks to the help of the Los Angeles Fire Department and the LA Food Bank. We would also like to thank those from the community who responded to Mike Lansing's article and brought gift cards, blankets, and donations to help kids obtain the basic necessities which many of us take for granted.
With our club sites hitting well over 100% in their targeted attendance numbers in 2011, we expect to be busier than ever in 2012. Because of our great success, many people for get that we are a non-profit organization that relies on the generosity of the community.
